The project included the fitting of a temporary bridge across the landslide area on Kolekole pass road. The construction of this bridge is approximately 120 feet long that spans entire landslide area and is one lane. It is utilized for light passenger vehicles and pickup trucks during the times of emergency.
The roadway pavements on this road are transitioned into the new bridge followed by grading and construction of drainage structures to prevent erosion and damage to the landslide and adjacent area. For this project, the team Nan Inc has put in a lot of hard work and efforts, which included tough engineering study on soil and foundation issues for the bridge installation and drainage construction. Moreover, the entire project approximately had 400 linear feet of glitched roadside ditches followed by the replacement of an existing drainage pipe above the location of the new bridge. Nan Inc perfectly handled this project and worked hard towards building the secure future of Hawaii. • The Making Of Ane Keohokalole Highway, Hina Lani Street To Palani Road: This project of County of Hawaii was awarded to the Nan Inc Owner, Nan Chul Shin at $29,893,000. It was a highly anticipated project on the island of Hawaii because it constituted the first major road built in Kona since the state was born. Often called as the new backbone of Kona, this highway extends approximately three miles from Palani road to Hina Lani Street. The construction of this highway by the Nan Inc has helped to pave the way for many new development projects along with linking of neighborhoods, businesses, schools, and health facilities as part of the Kona community development plan.
• Keaau-Pahoa Road Improvement Project: The brilliant work of team Nan Inc bagged them another project of County of Hawaii at $15,204,003. It was Keaau-Pahoa road improvement project, whose completion lead to the comfortable commute for the motorists as it relieved them from the traffic congestion problems especially during the afternoon peak hours towards Pahoa. The expert team of Nan Inc improved the shoulder lanes on this road by providing additional 10-foot travel lane for the busy hours. They also added new 12-foot travel lane and 8-foot shoulder towards Hilo and now the complete stretch of 10 miles is safe to drive.
